A year passes by fast when you’re having fun!
With E3 2007 happening now, I recalled the fond memories I had at E3 2006. It was my first trip to USA, my first trip to Los Angeles and my first footstep to that place called Hollywood. It was amazing!
I loved visiting the exhibitions, sampling the latest and upcoming games, and getting first hand news.
The MVP Award I won last year really made a couple of changes to my life. I enjoyed being a Microsoft XBOX 360 Advocate (and I still am!), the freebies that came with it (the trip to E3 2006 was the cream of the cake) and I enjoyed the little spotlight. I wouldnt have thought that I would have a video spotlight on me on the XBOX 360 Marketplace!
Fast forward to now, I’m now into the 5th month of joining an established games marketing/advertising company, PlayWorks. It was challenging at first, since I’ve been so used to being deskbound job as a paralegal for 7 years. PlayWorks is an equally demanding working environment as with most fast-paced jobs in any industry and learning the ropes of marketing was fun. Things are looking ok now, and we hope to see growth in the coming months.
I’ve not had a chance to meet again the people I met during E3 (especially the management team at the party and the cool bloggers on the XBOX360 blogger bus), so I would like to say thank you to them (and the powers that be in Microsoft) for the past wonderful year.
As I read some of the E3 2007 reports, I’m happy to learn so many exciting titles coming to XBOX360 (especially those PS3 exclusives). As XBOX360 shifts to be the better console (based on games library) than the PS3, I’m proud to be endorsing this product.
I’m still the first XBOX MVP in Singapore, and like any WWE Champion, I still carry that title with honour and pride.

Thank you Microsoft!
and Happy 4th July to all XBOX360 gamers in the USA!
