Do you know it’s been 10 years since Blackberry was launched in Singapore?
To mark its decade of presence, BlackBerry 10 will be launched on 7 March (im guessing 7+3= 0703?) and is set to fight for conversion from users who wants a change from their current smartphones.
Apart from the 70,000 apps already in the Marketplace, we are informed today there will be more local apps (apps-made-for-Singapore-users).
We were introduced to two of them at the press conference – Popcorn and PicStory
Popcorn is an app that consolidates the movie screening from the various cinema operators so you can make swifter choices and reserve your tickets faster, whereas PicStory is a deep special effects editor for your photos to suit various moods and theme.
Preorders and registration of interest are available from the respective telcos.
Too bad Alicia Keys, Global Creative Director of Blackberry is not with us at the press-conference.
