Forza is a great racing simulation on Xbox360 and the release of Forza4 this year brings along a couple of cool upgrades and features, along with Kinect Support. Having played for only a couple of hours, I’m not in a position to comment on the game fully but the features I touched on were all impressive. If you’re looking for reviews, check out here. Let’s check out the Forza4 packaging. There are two discs – 1 for playing and the other being additional content. You also get a Downloadable content code to unlock a BONUS TRACK PACK and LAUNCH BONUS CAR PACK over a free BMW M5 FAN PACK.
If you have a Forza3 saved game inside your console, the system will track and reward you accordingly. I didn’t have much playtime on Forza3 and all I got was a car. If you have substantial progress, perhaps you will receive a better reward. Anyway, here are some screenshots on the menu.

I’m not a car enthusiast and I’m still working on getting a driving license, but what interests me in Forza has always been the customised designs. Being someone who was trained for specialisation in design during my teenage school years (until I decided to pursue a law diploma due to various reasons), Forza’s customisation is the sole aspect of the game that I spent a lot on than racing. This was especially evident in Forza2 (where I spent more time than with Forza3).
So after unlocking a couple of cars, I decided to try customising one with custom decals. I didn’t want to work on something too time consuming so since the full Circle Line SMRT track was launched a day ago, I decided to try recreating the Land Transport Authority (LTA) logo along with a simple design on the hood, based on this image.
The result looks very amateurish but I guess it’s ok for a 90-min effort.
Here’s two snapshots of the work in progress.
I hope I have more time for new designs….there’s just too many new games from October to December!!!
(and I’m already skipping a handful)
