As with any exhibition or an event with great deals, there’s bound to be thousands of crowd, some wandering aimlessly while scouting for what they term as ‘good deals’.
You’re probably set on one thing – Get in, trade in your unused devices, and walk out with a new Xbox360 console. Sounds like a smooth plan, but I’d advise you to drag one or two of your Achievement buddies along, or better yet, get them to participate as well (as long as they meet the requirements).
Here’s the thing: Unless you get in pretty early before the hordes of working professionals are unleashed from their boring day job in their squeezy cubicles, chances are you will face the stampede. Do not face it alone. Bring your friends.
Friends can help you carry excess load (provided he can manage his own), take turns to watch over your stuff when you (and him) needs to run off to the washroom, take turns in taking breaks and get you a drink, while you wait to be served.
Friends are also good for you to pass time at the queue, as you discuss the latest discovery in Deus Ex: Human Revolution or your thoughts on the Warhammer Space Marine demo already available on XBox LIVE.
It’s about three weeks away from Gears of War3 and this is a good time to determine whether this or that Person is going to be one of the ‘Brothers to the End’…
