…for your social and professional habits, on the go.
Unveiled earlier today globally (at 5pm Singapore time, simultaneously in New York, London, Tokyo, Dubai, New Delhi and Cairo), Huawei’s new tablet is small for you to slot in anywhere and yet capable to handle your daily habits.
Powered with the latest Android Honeycomb 3.2 which according to Huawei offers the proper support for 7-inch tablets, this device is slated to be released in the third quarter (as announced during the event). However, even persistent queries from the press could not get Huawei to shed any indication on its price point. The only thing we heard is the MediaPad will be ‘most affordable’.
Although this statement was not made directly against any current known product, there were references to iPad, Xoom, Galaxy Tab 10.1 at one point of the presentation when claims on the PPI (Pixels Per Inch) were made. Huawei’s MediaPad is touted to have the highest PPI.
