Some people say L.A. Noire, the latest game from Rockstar, does not keep to tradition by not offering multiplayer gameplay that they had come to expect from Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption.
I’ve been playing the game for a couple of hours now and I can’t find a consistent way to put in multiplayer into L.A. Noire. Some may suggest a coop mode since you’re (always, most of the time) attending cases in pairs. While that sounds logical, there are scenes in the game that makes it unnecessary for a human teammate to tag along. Don’t bother about having four detectives in a car solving cases around town. It’s just nonsensical.
The closest I think that might work is to offer experiencing the side cases as patrolmen, who can radio each other for assistance. It could become something close to Red Dead Redemption’s multiplayer haven.
Until then, my hands are quite full with the current cases from the various desks.
