Just yesterday night, I was feeling bored with no direction on what and focus on what to play…regardless, I have countless titles in my library and there are many games crying out for my attention to replay or complete (and some still in their shrinkwrap status). I play on Xbox360 and on PS3 (as long as they’re created by great developers).
This morning, I received an email containing a Gears of War3 beta code. My face illuminated and I quickly entered the code into my Xbox360 to download the file.
To launch the beta, simply access your Games Library.
The beta consists of Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and King of the Hill matches, and playing through them will allow you to earn medals, unlock weapons and customise your multiplayer character with weapon and character skins. Unfortunately, there’s no Horde mode in this beta, but I hope they will let us sample it sometime in the future, before the game is released.
Ok, gonna go back into the game. See you guys on Xbox LIVE! According to a video screen grab from GiantBomb.com, Gears of War3 beta will go public on 25 April, while owners of Bulletstorm will get a preview one week earlier on 18 April.
