As with any game, Motorstorm3 Apocalypse has been developed for months and is scheduled for release this week. However, due to the recent tragedy in Japan, Sony was sensitive to the situation and had initiated a pull out of its release in Japan. But from a business point of view, the show must go on and as a gamer, I was happy to know that its release in Singapore is not delayed.
Here are pictures of the Singapore release, out in stores now. Contact your favourite gameshop on getting a copy.
There are three basic modes in the game – Festival is the story mode cum tutorial, told in an entertaining motion comics style, and is refreshing to watch. During races, the graphics are beautifully rendered and appears lifelike for an arcade racing game. Wreckreation offers you to replay the races with a vehicle of your choice, offering an alternative to approach the same race but from a different perspective and handling. My Motorstorm is where you customise the vehicles into something personal, and I’m sure a lot of people like to show off their designs online. Options is where you customise your settings, and choose to enable subtitles, an important feature for me.
