Who says history doesn’t repeat itself?
Back in 2004, I signed up with SingNet Broadband (512kbps then) and scored myself a free Xbox V1 console, bundled with some games.
Now in 2009, I am just in time to renew my broadband contract (this time 10Mbps) again for another free Xbox, this time a Xbox360 Elite (and a recent batch too, manufactured in Aug 2009) along with 2 games.
This is my first Xbox360 Elite but it’s not my first access to a 120GB hard drive.
So after setting up the Elite in place, I proceeded to transfer the content from my original 120GB HDD to the new 120GB HD which is in matte black, and it matches the colour of the console’s body. Because I’ve downloaded tons of content over the past 6 months (LIPS DLCs being one of them), the system estimates the transfer time to be about 4 hours, but in reality it took about just less than 3hours. More pictures in the photo album.
My previous console is also new, Xbox360 Arcade HDMI, manufactured in June 2009.
What am I going to do with it? I’m not sure. But I’ve already found a buyer for my old 120GB HDD.
