If you love playing First Person Shooter and Role Playing games, you should give this a go.
The premise is simple – choose 1 of 4 characters and set off in a free roam world filled with quests and loots as you level up from just about doing anything. Shot someone – earn some experience points (XP). Walked from point A to point B – here’s some XP. Helped someone – get some XP. Found a place – more XP for you! Talked to someone – get some XP!
The single player mode adds a lot of flavour and story to the place out-of-nowhere known as Borderlands, but it is the grinding and looting that is addictive. I keep telling myself sometimes – okay, just one more quest, but I won’t stop until I get very tired.
Levelling up and uncovering precious loot alone is never fun, and Borderlands offers the opportunity to team up with three other players in a coop game online. And get this – the more players there are in a party, the tougher the enemies are. So every member in the team counts.
Who will you play as in Borderlands?
