Ninja Blade demo is out on Xbox LIVE Marketplace yesterday.
The demo is a little too short but it’s quite enjoyable. Battle animations are pleasant to watch and controls doesn’t appear restrictive. You can even change weapons on the fly. Quick time events do not happen too sudden and even if you miss it, it’s not entirely game over, the game shifts to the last auto-saved checkpoint and you can keep going for retries.
While early impressions seem to point this game to Microsoft’ other ninja – Ninja Gaiden, there are a couple of differences in this game that should set itself apart. I just find it interesting that Ninja Gaiden’s character was named Ryu while the character in Ninja Blade is known as Ken.
….just when we are expecting Street Fighter IV next month.
